Hello! I'm Mel Paisley (he/him), a freelance illustrator, designer, and content writer who tends to focus on Asian-American diasporic experiences, speculative fiction, and approaching psychological horror from a neurodivergent, trauma-informed lens. When not freelancing, I love hyping people's projects on Twitter, going down research rabbit holes, and working on Lornshore, an original ttrpg setting at the intersection of Southern Gothic, Shinto, and Slavic folklore influences. I have been previously published with places like Polychrome Ink,  Meerkat Press,  Vox Poetica, Wussy Magazine,  and The Harvard University Press, have worked as a publicist for Big Lucks Press,  and as a recurring illustrator for Winter Tangerine, and The Likewise Fiction Podcast.
